Seaman' credo

Postby AriZona » Sun Oct 23, 2022 10:20 pm

Credo is needed to navigate ships across deep waters. As long as the character is at the helm:

L1 - Can navigate knarrs
L2 - Reduced ship damage over very deep water
L3 - Ships sail 10% faster
L4 - Whaling cause less damage to a ship (otherwise make knarrs ans snekkjas significantly more vulnerable to whales and orcas)
L5 - Can pass very deep water (boat speed is low and out of control otherwise over very deep water)

Well, nobody can operate a bigger boat w/o training. It is just reality. Thus having this makes a lot of sense

If the intent is to stop pvp across continents: whirlpools are the real culprit
Lucky: haven is so quirky
Lucky: can be so ugly, can be so heartwarming
Sevenless: it is life

Good idea if you can take it after Fisherman
Since it is odd that untrained people can pilot a large ship.
Piloting a big ship such as Snekkja itself should require Credos

This will reduce the number of Hearthlings with medium sized vessels in 1-2 weeks around the world so they can slow down and enjoy the content!
