Trolls and horses

I assume the idea is that Jorb doesn't want people to kite Trolls with horses. Jorb's solution: Trolls go berserk when they see a horse.

However, this creates massive trap for people who don't specifically know not to ride a horse when mining - or who know, but make the reasonable assumption that the troll will just kill the horse and let them escape.

Possible alternative solutions:
A) Give trolls an AoE attack that causes nearby horses to instantly KO.
B) Give trolls an AoE attack that removes all pony power from all nearby horses.
C) Give trolls a massive speed boost when a horse is nearby.
The most actively maintained Haven and Hearth Wiki (Not guaranteed to be up-to-date with all w14 changes.)

OR just not attack the player AGAIN after he/she is KOd...

Program the troll logic when spawned to 1.) agro the player (KO player), 2.) agro the horse (KO horse), 3.) And then Deagro...

Right now it 1.) agros the player (KO player), 2.) agro the horse (KO horse), 3.) And then KILLS the player...

Give trolls the ability to rawhide with a 4 initiative cost.

For every anti-cheese mechanic trolls have, there are 2 other cheese mechanics that work.
I know this doesn't add anything to the conversation, I just wanted to say it.

Jorb doesn't want people to kite Trolls

Considering kinda tough stats, fixed 3rd speed and survival mechanic how it is, there is really only one viable solution. Will you kite? Or will you perish like a dog?

Related: Raw Hide! could have "soft" CC variation that gives horse this pose and stops them from moving faster than Hearthling speed 2:

To my understanding Raw Hide! was added because being caught on foot by gankers with horses was a death sentence, even if you had titan stats compared to them, they could just choose to run away and you had no way to chase them. This version would still accomplish that. I may be completely wrong but feels like current raw hide is bit too OP and yet another un-intuitive trap, this time for people who assume it is okay to ride a horse outside without immediately fleeing when an unknown player appears in minimap.
