Infinite Quivers and Ammo pouches

Ranged being balanced properly or not, one of the longstanding issues has been the need to craft ammo. It's slow, and it can take up an annoying amount of resources in the case of bone arrows. This is actually the main reason people suggest never doing ranged for hunting right now: The arrow crafting and resource consumption is just too high compared to boar spear cheesing.

So I propose instead we make items that acts as an infinite source of ammo for slings and bows. Even with easy ammo, bows aren't overpowered by any means. This would also make a lot of happy hermits/newbies since the idea of not needing metal to hunt and being able to sit a safe distance away from their target appeal to them.

Mind you, I'm not saying this craft should be cheap. Needing 50 arrows as part of the craft, or including resources that tone down the quality both make sense for balancing concerns. This would leave a niche use for manually crafted arrows in pvp when you need absolute top tier Q and don't want to have your arrows brought down by this craft. Finally, there could be an item for each ranged weapon allowing finer tuning if you wanted to bring down the quality of infinite Rbow shots for example.

If a player has a hard metal weapon, they won’t bother using a bow and arrows. Only players who don't have hard metal weapons, have obtained leather, but still haven’t learned Unarmed Combat, will use Archery.
In these cases, it’s faster to spend time crafting arrows than to risk close combat on a dangerous boat. This is especially noticeable with the default client, making Archery the optimal choice under these conditions.
By the way, I wouldn’t use a bow and arrows unless the damage were increased fourfold.

There are plenty of hermits/newbies who want to use archery, and some that kinda brute force it. But I feel like this is a step in the right direction without having massive potential impacts on pvp.

Seeing people constantly shit-talk bows makes me feel insane. They're really quite good for PVE.

With the addition of a new biome this season, I should also mention that due to the nerf, bows can no longer be used as effectively as before ¦]

Only thing that holds them down is ammo crafting. You can gigasuplex bears on a fighter character faster than bows sure, but for the average player bows are very competitive. For hermits without stats or decks they're clearly the best option.
