"Divine grace" a counther weight for "Murderous Rage"

- The ability to enter Divine grace, a status effect which lasts 24 real life hours and prevent to initiate combat with an other heartling in exchange for nullifying 40% of the grievous damage you recive.

- This effect should also be visible to everyone which would lead to more friendly player interaction in the open World.

I could be wrong... but make it disallow any action that would give Outlaw status, and it sounds reasonably fair?

Also a potentially silly idea: have it ironically behind the "Murder" skill so that it represents an active choice. There's a difference between being benign, and being harmless.

Haha don't worry. I'm just a harmless player. I'm all by myself. ;)

Due to pvp often using area aggro, "prevent initiating combat" is not enough. It would still be quite useful for pvpers in group fights. I've suggested in the past the possibility of a long term toggle (multiple days to switch) where you give up the ability to fight other players in any way in return for death protection (due to possible wild animal shenanigans, it'd have to be from everything basically).

I'm not convinced by the "what about unkillable alts" arguments because anyone who would abuse that can already bot print them if they wanted to with relatively little effort.
