Request for 'Wild Windsown Weed', but for Trees and Bushes

Greetings, one and all! I hope you're well. :D

I did not find a similar suggestion elsewhere. Forgive me if it turns out that my Google-Fu is rusty.

Initially, high quality tree seeds may be obtained from dungeons, however I don't think they are based on existing trees planted by other hearthlings. With Wild Windsown Weeds now functioning as a catch-up mechanic for crops, I would like if trees and bushes could be obtained likewise, to allow new players to benefit from high quality trees later in the world. Introducing...

New Forageable Plant: the Slender Birdsown Sapling!

    - Hearthlings may pick the Slender Birdsown Sapling to receive an Uprooted Sapling, which takes 2 slots vertically in the inventory. Like WWWs, the species of the sapling is not determined until later. Its species and quality are based on an existing tree planted by other hearthlings, and is hardcapped by Farming ability.

    - Uprooted Saplings may be placed in an empty Tree Planter's Pot to become a Planted Birdsown Sapling. No dirt or water is required. Once planted, it must rest on an herbalist table for some hours - ideally, somewhat longer than planting a tree in the usual way - before its species is revealed, after which it will transform into a '<species> Sapling', or a dead tree. Plant lore and related skills affect the chance for an uprooted sapling to rejuvenate.

    - As a catch-up mechanic, in my opinion the sapling's quality should be equal to the quality of the original SBS. We can debate whether it should be softcapped by the tree pot and herbalist table (I think it should), or whether it should require water and soil (I think it should not).

    - For LARP purposes, uprooted saplings may instead be planted with a shovel, which halves its quality, but immediately reveals the species of the young tree. The usual chance to stunt still applies.

Thank you for taking a look!
