Requires some implementational attention to detail to be graceful, but, yes, would be real neat. Also footprints in e.g. sand, mud, blood, &c.

Finally, a way to track sprucecaps without them commiting a crime first. GRREAT idea. Make the duration of footprints also rely on Stealth for the one leaving them and PERxINT for the one that's seeing them. That would be a BLAST, I'm sure the WHOLE shebang of Core Playerbase (tm) would return into all of the active worlds and stay there until they run out of noobs to gank.
