"No-grab-bag-in-C&I" is a well-established tradition (and probably there's a dusty rule about it somewhere). The reasoning is fairly obvious, if you can't be arsed to present your stream of conscience as a set of well-defined separate ideas each with it's own thread for discussing and arguing about, you don't get read by the devs. Simple, effective, easy to grasp.
