Bump. Still drowning in logs. At least add a "log shack" with no items inventory, just objects inventory.

Yeah literally the technology is already there they just need to copy and paste the tool shed and change it

Someone mentioned they don't want this game to be too much like Salem requiring building stockpile for everything. Well, it's not *required* and I feel like this is quite useful specifically for logs!

I would prefer a pile that could represent the logs loaded with variable materials, but even plain one would be extremely appreciated.

Worst case - an option to destroy the log with Adventure -> destroY with less effort than chopping/sawing it

Similar things were requested here, here, here, and a lot more times

While you're waiting for a decision, you can use a wagon—it can hold up to 20 items and takes up little space. It's not the same as a dedicated log storage structure; it doesn't look as pretty, but it saves space.
As for keeping it from rotting, I don’t know.

It would be interesting to see a separate log storage structure that uses slats (rollers) to raise the logs to the next level, so that the number of logs and rows increases depending on how full the structure is.
I prefer the option where they're stacked on top of each other (like sausages in a package), forming a triangle, as it looks more natural and beautiful than the "fire" or "grate" arrangement. And from a storage standpoint, it's easier to roll them up without using machinery—using two inclined logs.
My english is bEd.

Garden Shed is kinda overlooked, easy solution for treelogs is give it a huge object inventory like Knarr's

but then would be nice to see icons reflect treelog type

Garden shed only holds 4 liftable items, so 4 logs. It takes up 4 tiles, so it's not very space effiient either. It is a great place to store various tools and such, like wheelbarrows and plows and sometimes demijohns when not in use.

Log pile should be more efficient, and if it can still show a graphic for individual log, would be a flavor win.
