yes, craft those bouquets from silk cloth by accident why dont you. -1 all the way. despite all the devs tries and attempts to save our rope in a belt for example, its still getting built in first into buildings. so, no, i dont want my top q hide straps eaten away by accident just by sitting on a rope walk.

Sounds like a custom client suggestion. Toggleable, mind you! Because previous poster is correct in his assessment.

To make it more friendly with the game, crafting station interfaces are needed, so once you started using crafting station it pops showing you recipes that requires this station and is known to you, so that you select em to craft. You sat on loom, here's your 14 items you can craft, no need to save recipes on belts, use custom client recipe search engine or search for recipe manually.

And for sake of rationality, never change currently selected recipe to craft by just right clicking on tool, this will only be an annoyance.
