Inventory Weight Limit

Weight limit would be great for that hardcore feel. It's not the same thing if i have a full inventory of blocks of wood or if i've a full inventory of little bugs.

As if the game itself is not in the first place, it's common sense, in my opinion, to have a simple weight system. I love the hardcore to the max.

Even if it's very nice to be able to carry 12 blocks of wood in a single go, it doesn't make since that my character is only able to carry 24 worms in comparison. A weight system would be better but I odubt the devs would do that since it requires too much work/effort.

All it would cause is tasks with heavier objects to be more difficult (woodcutting, mining, hunting), and tasks that have lighter objects to be more easy (foraging, farming). The inventory system in place is balanced as is I see no need for change as it just inconveniences some roles more than others

the game is hardcore enough and I don't think you have been playing the game very long

As much as I love the idea, it would have been needed to be already partly implemented. Like lets say a character needed 20 strength just to loft a boat, in tern making the weight in the character inventory need to fallow suit as an extra metric. While a good idea and ya this is a new version adding it wont be to bad, but it wont be easy either as suddenly everything and I mean everything has weight to it. I cant image the programming needed at this point, ya they could use a table or something, but ya rather suspend this and ensure they make more money or have amazing ideas that add to the game over all then see some penalty and realism being added for no good reason.

Blocks take two inventory slots, therefore they already are heavier than a worm. I like that simplicity, to expand on that and give items weight; players can only carry X kg because of Y strength, sounds like a boring mechanic. Jorbtar could be doing better stuff imo.
