Accessibility suggestions

Tooltip explanations of the effect of increasing each "Base attribute" and "Abilities" for the uninitiated

Timers on curios

Ambitious but I would like to see UI for quality determination in the craft pop up. instead of insider know-how from guys who coax loftar to paste quality formulas at 4am on IRC. <3

also maybe a pop up within settings that explains all basic controls like currently posted here. Or even better an pop up in game when you first lift something up or make a build signpost explaining the extra controls.

maybe "pick seaberries" instead of generic "pick berries"?

Certainly a few tooltips missing, yeah.

I'm personally against tooltips. I like immersion of having to identify trees by their design, biome, and appearance only, it's fun for me, and tooltips would ruin that.

If you implement that it would be great if you also made it optional.

Building/crafting costs in the menu where you select them. In particular, it's annoying to be unable to see the costs of buildings you're unable to place where you are at that moment (such as claim stakes while you're inside your base).

Required crafting stations and tools for crafting items, for example the fact that you need an anvil and (likely; can't confirm right now) a smithy's hammer to create a metal axe.

Myeah, that'd be a heck of a lot more work, but, sure. Ideally that'd be great.

Can't you pull that out of the recipes for the item to be created?
I mean, the server already knows that stuff, else it couldn't check it...

Descriptive tooltips would be reallllly nice. Not "Depends on weapon damage". Why not have a tooltip able to calculate your current damage based on equipped weapon/stats? Lots of other games do this and it's really nice not to need to pull up a spreadsheet and a wiki to calculate a damage value without hitting something.

Because formatting, tracking, and presenting that kind of data requires developed systems for presentation and whatever, which means work.
