Consider speeding up the hunger levels

Postby jordancoles » Mon Dec 14, 2015 7:33 pm

Just ate down to 100% and now I have no plans of logging onto this character again for like, 4 days
I have several cupboards of cheese and I'm still producing it, yet I'll never be able to actually eat it all

The hunger levels recover too slowly and the gaps in between eat at my will to play

Are you kidding me. My village is pretty lively and we're all at 200%. Please consider the possibility that you are more active than the average player, coles.

If you're making more food than you're eating, then eat more. Push yourself into the Content or even Full range. Full depletes FAST.

results = sqrt(effort) is the master formula of the game and it is reflected in the hunger system.

If anything, the fact that even you consider "Famished" to be the correct level to eat at implies that hunger depletes too FAST. We're obviously designed to be playing at Hungry and Content levels, with casuals playing at Famished and obsessive pros playing at Full. If everybody is playing at Famished, then it's too easy to get Famished.

Lol, I hardly play compared to most people in factions
I have 3+ cupboards of cheese atm and unless I make more alts there's no way I'll be eating it all anytime soon
A lot of people in my town are in the same position atm, more food than we know what to do with and no reason to play outside of the 300-200% window

Again.. if you have more food than you are eating, then eat it.

Hungry requires twice the food for a stat upgrade, but Hungry also depletes 4x as fast. That means if keep yourself at Hungry with the same quality foods you're eating now, you'll gain twice the stats over time as someone playing at Famished.

2x the stats for 4x the food.. results = sqrt(effort) as designed :)

unless you're at like 500 str it's not worth waiting for 300%

But... but we are :'(

I still eat in 200%, I'm not just waiting for 300% exclusively
I'll eat on my character down to 100 and then wait for it to drop back down again, but during that time my will to log on decreases significantly
I could eat at 100% aswell, but that just makes my wait longer

No, it doesn't. If you play at 100% you get that bar back 4x faster. One day instead of four days.

Plus the time needed to get back to the low end of 200%

Maybe I'm just bored in general
