Let us put seashells into stone stockpiles

Now that seashells are used in better crafts it would be nice to have a real way to store them while mining

Let us place seashells into stone stockpiles

Have you tried placing a cupboard somewhere near where you mine to drop off the stuff you want to keep?

No, because the only thing that isn't stockpilable are these shells that make shitty curios anyway.

Stockpiles for everything, infinite capacity!

Yeah the fossil collection is worth crafting and you do get a lot of seashells, it would be nice to be able to stockpile them, I've filled two lc's with them now and that's only the ones above a certain q.

I feel like they drop sparingly and decay slow enough it's not really necessary. If you feel so compelled, why not just carry a log with you into your mine and make cupboards as you go?

Also, they don't belong in a stone stockpile because they don't work as a substitute for stone. Same goes for strange crystals and dust. Cat Gold makes sense due to the fact that it is a valid stone substitute.

If they're shitty, why keep them at all?

Just put a CB + bone&block stockpiles near your mining area and compress the seashells 3:1 on-site.

Yeah, I guess, but it's on L3 ... all that carting around .. prob easier to just bring up an lc and then make them though rather than just keep filling them up and running out of space. :)
