Statistically It Is Time for World-17?

So if your reading this thread I'm guessing you are (like everyone else is) wondering when world 17/16.1 is going to start?

Due to a lack of solid info from Jorb/Loftar the community has been left wondering and grasping at the "straws" of months old information from the yuletide dev stream, and the few interactions Loftar has had with people on the discord. in both cases proposals for server wipe date were put forward, yet have since past with no updated word from the devs to the community.

As you can see from my attachments, if we follow past trends statistically we are essentially almost at the point where the devs should begrudgingly have to wipe the server. with less than 200 concurrent players at most times of the day, (138 at the time i write this) we are right in that sweet spot for wipe. So my post would like to ask a couple similar questions as others already have. that being "PLEASE TELL US WHEN WIPE HAPPEN!!!" and "Is it worth it to not wipe the server for the sake of less than 200 players progress, if it means that 90% of your player base will not play the game" at this point it's just a numbers game. also knowing when wipe will happen is very important to the community planning aspect of the game to actually know when to start messaging your friends/allies design your village layout and to set time aside to play on wipe.

I thought W16 was permanent and W17 was supposed to begin six months after W16.
Whatever happened to that?

Either way this post was just to bring to attention to the fact that we are now near to the point in concurrent player number were the server must have some form of reset. (If following historical data) The idea of whether or not world 16 will be "permanent" is still up for grabs, but since that idea is an unknown factor, i preferred to center my post on being pro wipe based on statistical player number data, not the vague info we have been drip fed over the past 7 MONTHS!!!

You're overthinking it, they make new worlds whenever they feel so, the vibe must be there

I think I'ts too soon for a wipe of world 16.
Reason is it is a bit different from the other worlds in that there was an influx of steam players, within said influx it's a good bet there is a number of players who are new to this game and are small groups playing a slow game and getting attached to their little setups.
We don't know how many players are actively enjoying, all we know are concurrent numbers. As they seem to stay between 150-200, with 50 ish steam players there are a lot of people still finding the state of the wold fun - why spoil it for them just yet?.
Not saying it isn't time for a reset, just adding a perspective.
Personally I'm good with either option, or another world starting now concurrent with this one would be great. Hope that is what happens.
On these forums I am the same person as Tav and de4dly.

The start of the new world isn't the same as the wipe of W16, for the first time in Haven history.

Also it's quite likely that the forecasted start date of six months (which we've blown past by a fair margin) have something to do with the low population we now see.

Would be fine with me if this world runs another year (or more), I'm now settled and having fun. In a realm with active chat, two (count 'em - two) active players on my kin list, decent crops, animals starting to improve...

Around the time many are getting bored and leaving I'm just starting to have fun.

I loathe the first days of a new world, not just the excessive griefers but the dreary grind of running around discovering everything again ...and again ...and again.
