Trees Do Not Contact Me

Give us a toggle that lets us not get quests from trees or boulders but only frogs.
The idea would prevent griefing like this:

in an (apparently) extremely unlikely scenario where I end up finding a palisaded amphibian, what should I do?

Are you sure? I think frogs stay where they are unless someone kills them. In World 16, I spent quite a bit of time running around the same frogs, and in World 16.1, a frog definitely stayed in the same spot for more than a few real days.

The intentions are good, but only receiving quests from frogs feels like a half-measure. It severely limits the quest mechanics. Essentially, you're rejecting three-quarters of the quest givers.

Great discussion guys.
Frogs would be exempt if this idea gets implemented because they never stay on the same rock forever.
Whoever palisades frogs in will be wasting their own time(I've done this).

what if there was an option to exclude specific individual questgivers instead?

Hmm, how about this: questgivers arent real trees, they are magical. If they sense being surrounded by artificial walls or being on claim, let them get up and move away, then settle somewhere else. Done&fixed.
