Could have its uses but would imply more implementation effort per item in the future, so, no.

I would get it that putting the system in takes efford, but setting a weight property on the item?

Simply grab one and put it on a scale (or look it up in Wikipedia), type in the number.
Can't be that hard...

lol ever code a complete game...... the shear amount of code to weight 1000s of items would take a mind boggleing amount of time even if all the weights were known and just needed entered in.......and this isnt Salem .......no on weights :<

Ya, and that's then another thing that scales the complexity and maintenance cost of every single item that extra little bit higher for doubtful benefit. No thanks. It took us a whole night, give or take, just going through the fooditems to add values to those.
