And what I'm asking is could you explain /why/ you think it can be abused?

Thats just pointless. Its idiot mechanic. Theres no ponit ni adding it. NO ONE would use it for anything except griefing or abusing,

The primary point is for saving any allies who might be drowning.

If you get KO''d by someone, they can't hearth home. That's how the criminal scent system works for a few hours after a major crime. If they do drag you to their home, then they have to keep you combat locked in order to prevent you from hearthing/logging out. Server goes down constantly, not everyone can leave an account on running to grief long enough to force you to stay home, all of these are chances for you to save yourself.

You'd need both thief and rage, meaning the only reasons people would do this is to hold someone hostage for some time and possibly demand things of another village, not to mention you can party others in order to save said kidnapped hearthlings- It's not abusable nor any more "griefy" than going around killing people.

As well as preventing hearthing home.)

The most desired reason for this is saving allies who are drowning, it doesn't seem right that we can only sit and watch as they drain stamina and suffocate on water where we could be dragging them to safety/land/boats.

The other reason is the added aspect of possibly kidnapping people/holding them at a place for whatever purposes are desired (Though, in this case to prevent trolling it might be desireable to add a way to hearthlings to suicide).

your retarded but there should be a rescue mechanic but not a hostage mechanic

The salt in this thread is lol

Anyway, while I disagree entirely with the kidnapping thing as we don't need more fun new ways to make people miserable, I do wholeheartedly agree with the ability to rescue idea.
W3 to W6 - Blockland. Special mentions: New Avalon, Tarn of Hotdog, Red October.
W7 - Elvenia, til we all got lazy.
W8 - Cult of R'lyeh, til the deeps called us back.
W9 - Tartarus, til death/wizards came for the land itself.
W10 - ???, ruined and forgotten.

I agree. you should be able to lift KO people. then when they come to they should drop to the ground. You should also be able to push others in a direction.
