...aside from Lordrio's malicious ways, you could make a road between your village and the other and just travel along it.

You can destroy a signpost and wait for people to teleport in, then you can eat their face while their client is loading the map and cant do anything about it.

You can teleport along road ways. You just have to be at the milestone or roadsign and select 'travel'. If you're 'waylayed' along the way you can resume your teleport at any sign along the way.

I don't get it. So you build two signposts/milestones, pave a way between them and then you can teleport freely between the two points?

No. Build a roadsign or milestone, right click them and build a road. For roadsigns it's like 4 wood blocks and for milestones it's 5 stone. Each sign can then be extended and as long as nothing obstructs your travel you'll teleport along them to the end when using 'travel' on any connected roadsigns/milestones. Use Shift + Mousewheel to rotate signs to determine where you'll travel along them. When placing signs you can use ctrl + left click to path around obstacles. No paving necessary. They can teleport you across water without using any stamina but you need to have swimming turned on. You can't lift any object besides a boat or it will stop you at the water source though, so if your road goes over a river plan ahead. They can also go over cliffs.

Just careful with milestones. They have 10 soak once they're done so breaking them can be annoying. Otherwise yes, they're pretty much the best thing ever for gathering clay.

What I was wondering is tho, does the path from one post to antoher need to be clear of obstacles or only the arrow down when putting down a extended post need to be cleared.

Because I remember someone said stone milestone can jump thru river and such.
