Having made ~40 wrought iron with iron ochre at your set of skills:

Average bars/smelter is 2-3, average bloom per bar is ~60%, average wrought per bloom is 50%.

You should be getting roughly 1/2 wrought bar per smelter of ochre, a little more. If you're getting less, bad luck. Doesn't include the cast you generate from failed bloom>wrought.

Are you letting your bloom sit? Someone told me it'll eventually turn to slag if you leave it alone, but I've yet to confirm that personally.

Somone told me this cooling off thing too. I trid to instantly grab blooms and cast wrought out of them. Well, i only got 2 blooms from whole finery forge of 9 cast iron. And 2 cast iron out of those blooms. So it just must be bad luck.

This is how superstitions are made.

no righteous man raises his hand against the innocent,
a man need only strike another to make him evil."

Allowing both to be purchasable and having them interfere with each other would be a major ¦] move.

But H&H has one of the worst rates of confirmation bias in all of gaming, so I'm sure the rumors will persist, if not escalate.

The very idea of making them skills was so that they wouldn't be mutually exclusive.

Nature skills confirmed lowering wrought chance. Jorb why. I cant see any other explanation.

That is precisely what I just said they do not do.
