If the game wants new animals, it needs better AI's- big 'boss' monsters like this will only be abused, that's all.


As for mammoth longbows - The last thing we need is a bow that deals enough damage to OHKO

Why not call them warbows or english longbows (because english archers were op) and have new kinds of arrows
Bodkin arrows = good for penetrating armor
Hunting arrows = the ones to kill mammoths (very expensive)

Also so what if they're "abused", we're puny humans and our only advantage over dragons and bears and trolls is our intelligence

Yes except there's a big difference between using our intelligence to outsmart a troll and using exploits to make the troll incapable of attacking while we hit it from the other side of a cliff in melee.
