Are you really saying that with the character development & crafting caps system you don't use alts for different professions?
early world especially there are lots of tasks you might want to spend a long time doing. If you require many subbed accounts you are making the player who spends 10x more money much stronger. I think its much nicer right now how as long as you have one sub you're sorted.
I guess this suggestion might cut down on "good" combat alts on a subbed account somewhat but it doesnt seem like a very nice solution; I like the fact that LP gain is tied to intelligence, at least.
yeah your right~
then people with money would likely would just make more and more alt accounts to boost chars. le sad face.

1. It encourages alts on a single account, as each alt benefits from just being spawned once and never logged just stacking LP.
2. Removes half of the permadeath, if someone dies all their LP is stored in the next alt. They would only need to eat to regain stats.
3. Reduces curio consumption to a pittance. Currently alt growth is restricted by curio consumption. Yes you can mass produce crafted curios but there is a limit to foraged curios.
Good solution, too many holes though.
the 1st one~ it would de-encourage alts on single account, LP bank is shared with all toons on the account, using LP on one toon would take away from the bank.
the 2ed one~ yes-no~ the permadeath to your char and losing a high stat char is still very real. the banked LP would likely be used by more casuals then hardcores.
Also the LP from the death would be lost not the next alt.
3ed one- yes it would slow curio consumption, and as gunner said would just force us to use other accounts to keep the speed up.
IE I know the holes when I post stuff~ I would rather a discussion on building a Study system that would work.
