I like it.

Not for jorb tho, because he plays 1 hour a week, and doesn't even know why people don't double layer their walls, and it's his own game.

If he played more than 1 hour a week, he wouldn't have time for updates ;)

I honestly wouldn't mind if he has less frequent update if it allows him to get a better feel of the position of both low and high level players. That way while there are less update, they become much more meaningful but that's another story.

As for OP topic...I actually haven't found any fault in, yet. The numbers will need to be refined but the general concept seems better than the previous Haven's trad belief system that you can't make a titan stronger than the previous provided that the number isn't too high.

Arguably it does deserve it's own thread, I should explain my idea for the attribute stuff too though (LP is arguably harder to earn again than stats)

Glad you liked it too dole

Instead of my old idea for the LP increases though.. since it's complicated: let's say this

On inherit, you gain the "Strength of the Ancestors" buff, every time you put a point in a skill if your ancestor had more points in that skill, the buff will give you two bonus points for that skill.

For example, if I had 100 mc and 10 ua on an old character, this is how progression would work

I would start with 3 ua and 3 mc.

If I put one point into mc, I would have 6 (2+4) same for UA, at 3 points you would have 9 (3+6), same for UA. At 4 though, you would have 4 + 8, for 12 mc. However for UA you imstead have 10 ua, and are finaled, your stat becomes (10+0) and now you progress normally.

Since costs scale hard this would end up being incredibly cheap, but still fair IMHO

Actually i suggested this idea before, I just didn't say it in the way that you did. I did give you credit though, and I take no credit for the idea, because it's like taking credit for making a thread about bridges, it's been said before.

All i care about is making this game better for new and old players, and to give people a reason to keep playing after death.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

I don't really like the idea. Don't you already get all discovery LP back from the character? I like that best. This idea would make early-on game too easy, and i like how hard the game is early-on.

Total misplay.

It doesn't make the game much easier at all, and doesn't impact early characters much. This is mostly a tool for endgame characters to recover from a horribly reeling loss, and being behind for the rest of the world.

The discovery LP is absolutely insignificant when compared to any source of reliable lp income.
