No, but it seemed to be doing the exact opposite of what it was intended to do, namely reduce curio handling.

It was actually reducing curio handling. i think most of people was crying about hq node they already had before.
Reducing the lp gain to essence was the first nice way to reduce it (how it could be worst only looking for essence instead of the 3 stats ?). then you could find better node, coupling essence and substance for curio you could kept at least 5 or 6 round...

How it wasnt working ?

Nah it was doing that. It was great. Might need some minor tweaks to balance but I loved it.

I definitely found myself handling curios more because if you leave in a "spoiled" curio too long it'll drain your XP a lot. Even if you handle the curios correctly, XP spending would go way up. And grinding XP was never intended to be something you do intentionally.

I was just letting it go negative, fuck it. If XP is as easy to get as you all keep saying it is then it wouldn't have been that difficult to go positive again.

XP is easy to get for the current usage rates, mine was slowly increasing even though I do nothing to invite XP other than click on willows occasionally. But it's a lot harder to increase your XP gain if your needs for it suddenly increase. It's outright designed to be something that comes naturally but is hard to grind.

like i said, it needs some tweaks, XP should scale along the same linearization as LP

This, too bad loftar doesn't want to do floating point values.

you could still scale it with integer values, though.
