pig-dog botting support communism

Excuse me, this system is very bot friendly, imagine how much more quickly I could pick those with an auto-pick bot. Why do you insist on introducing mechanics that encourage botting? Please check your botting privilege.

I don't think we need them that common but I would love to see one on a mountain. :)

make edels and other good curios easy to find as glimmers, but they should require higher exp*perc. Botting glimmermosses didn't give much advantage over a player who didn't bot them this world, because they were easy to find for everyone, this would make foraging alive again(glimmermosses were the only forageable that made me to go out and forage). The same with last world, edels were easy to find and didn't give much advantage for the botters, because they could be find by everyone. Botting bluebells was a whole another topic, because they were too rare and thus gave real huge advantage for the botters. Why do you sacrifice the fun because of botters? That is one of the main reasons why old haven was better than the new hafen(it didn't have all this stupid anti-bot mechanics that removes/limits important aspects from the game for the rest of the players. Why did you guys decide to remove foraging completely, because of some baddies that cannot play themselves).

This. I really think you went the wrong direction with trying to stop botting.

Bots are designed to do exactly what normal players do, you guys and the devs all suggest limiting what a bot can possibly do but limit what normal players can do in conjunction with it. Best option againts bots imo is either watch all the characters to see if they seem to be botting(Jorb who said it is hard to watch 200-300 players, you dont have 200-300 players, it would take an hour tops for me to control 200-300 for me) Or try and detect how the bots do the work, not the work(eq clicking the same pixel everytime, game ticks per minute, the same intervals between clicks etc)

It's not so easy, because just like runescape, every time they crack the code on bots, the botters just create new bots that act random enough to pass as a player. They don't even try to stop it anymore.
What makes you think a small indie game crew can do what a giant company cant?
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

If someone can make a bot that can pass a Turing test they deserve to win.

no righteous man raises his hand against the innocent,
a man need only strike another to make him evil."
