Silk tablecloth is good, but has cheap alternatives

This table is slightly higher quality but ~20% wear.

Well, but we probably won't have such high q metals so easily available next world.

The wear of the silk items is still ridiculous. People would prefer crafting additional merchant robes, than using the silk for 30 bites of cheese.

Early-game - really? Only not for single hermits like I was. And not to those who are playing for the first time.

Well I think the idea was that boar will always be hunted before bear, and more easily available. So indeed it's sooner than bear and midnight blue for hermits especially. I agree with the assessment that there are mostly some foods towering over all others, and I can't say I know how to tweak them exactly to make them all useful. One thing I noticed though was that satiations did very little to deterr spamming. So perhaps boost all foods a bit but make eating more than a few pieces of any one thing leave you worse off than you'd have been with the old/current system.

I refer to the early-game not in chronological basis (from the world start), but the development stage of the settlement/village.

Thanks for this. I would love to rebalance both food and curios in some thought out fashion, but it's a big job, and I'm not sure it has great returns on investment.
