Majority of players probably dont like pvp. So lets remove it then?

Those players will be begging to be killed when they see the griefing that happens with no PvP.

Now that you mention it...
"Since all men count themselves righteous, and since
no righteous man raises his hand against the innocent,
a man need only strike another to make him evil."

Just like any hermit would kill the griefers if there were any

Back on topic.

Building signs should check for terrain and stuff as they currently do at placement time and then prevent terrain changes (leveling, paving, whatnot) but allow passing through them and placement of stuff (except other building signs), building them would block at the last item if the area occupied is not free of objects.

This would allow placing stockpiles into the marked area to be build in and also remove the abuses in combat.

Cool......but pretty sure the last item of the stockpile would block the building, btw it seems a good idea.

Which wouldn't be that bad, compared to what we have now.

Yeah totally agree, it seems a good idea...I cannot see any drawback, i'm thinking why it's not already a thing.....there may be some drawback but I cannot see.

P.S. Maybe I found it.....building stuff over stuff could bring in some weird behaviors....only Loftar knows :D

If a hearthling runs into a construction sign that doesn't have anything actually built in the sign should get destroyed.

Only in case the stuff has hitboxes (and not even then, apart from potentially being unable to reach certain objects), which the 'new' construction signs wouldn't have. And it wouldn't be harder to implement than

which might give different problems as the hearthling might run into the sign when placing it.
