Ever tried competing for mountain local resources? They are pretty much meant for your point, and exist for quite a bit now.
Ofc at some point domesticated animals quality would win over wildlife, its just how it works, especially when the world lasts 2 years.
I get that new concepts are hard and all that but this topic not an idea or complaint, its just some old crook murmuring how the grass was greener earlier and how he liked it for arbitrary reasons.
