IMO if you're holding a scent of murder and KO the murderer you should be able to right click the scent on their KO'd corpse and kill them for no murder scent. Maybe leave a scent of retribution or eye-for-an-eye or something lol

Yes that sounds great, harass people with alt until they eventually get "murdered" and then KO the noob who did it and take him without scent xd

Isn't the problem in the original post more about localized resource and alt issues rather than rage?

Also alts block the gate. If the besieged does not have 30k LP, then he is just sad to see.

As long as the alts are standing on a claim, anyone with access to said claim can attack them without rage and, as long as they don't kill them, without any consequences.

As for the discussion about rage and murder, what's stopping people from carrying around a single murder alt to do the dirty deed, while allowing their main fighters to only shuffle about with rage? I understand that this wouldn't really apply to mid-forest 1v1 fights and small ganks, but I think people should at first see how these new changes to rage, and rage only play out rather than trying to conjure up ideas on how it might work.

If you want to pvp you should have to pay the price. On claim as it is is fine.

Maybe add in a skill that you can pick that isn't rage but allows you to turn scents into 'writs of justice' and who ever has the writ can bypass hearthlaw

Tresspassers? Thats a paddlin as you can now attack tresspassers as if you had rage
Theft? You can mug them, as if you had rage and theft
Murderers? Well you can kill them outright.

Call it Ranger or something.
