Active playercount is more than enough to see when deep world people are bored. Being haven, that means everyone not playing wants a new one typically.
And I was more talking physical world changes, since this world launched with thingwalls. We've also had oceans introduced, "localized resources" introduced, etc. Geography things aren't possible changes mid world.
