if you come back after a year of even semi-active play and say the same thing maybe people won’t call you a sprucecap retard with no perspective worth considering

not ad hominem to point out that a player who’s played for two days has no idea at all what they’re talking about w.r.t. appropriate world length

Haven needs the illusion of eternity or its mechanics kinda fall apart.

Mechanics of the game are just fine even with 2y death row sentence. By my opinion.
Atleast i can go on 3 month vacation not thinking about fu game. But...

I respect you opinion tho. Thx m8.

Unfortunately most players don't seem to share your view, which is why world pop craters after 3-4 months.

Most of payers/players is not good enough to keep server up, even. Its like peanuts to developers. But in longer terms ... to keep developers alive ( wich is my main goal), we need em to push towards some normal standards,, you know...

Non one wanna such resets.. on such huge worlds .. and efforts.. exept those old farts... why do I wana pay for a game, who is like sentence... for fu. single year, man....
It's redicelous.
From my point of view..ofcourse.
As long as it is constructive. I care.

I don't know what you mean exactly, but more frequent resets help the developers financially at least, since it brings back players.

I thought the same when I originally joined. Why play a game that could get randomly wiped at any time? But the truth is that it is fun, you learn more about the game every world and you can then use that knowledge to do better in the next world. And since everyone is in the same situation of having lost their progress, it doesn't feel that bad.

The problem with long-running worlds is that it is currently not possible to take a break from the game. If you need a break or want to go on holidays for a few weeks, all your animals will die, your plot/village will begin to decay and it gets robbed. So you basically have to quit.
If that fundamental problem of the game is ever fixed, then I'd be all for long-running worlds. But I doubt it will change.

Good luck, the more autistic parts of the community have already doxxed and made death threats to the devs

"Me" does not translate to "everyone else".

It's common sense to first get some experience about something to then talk about it. You usually don't talk about quantum physics when you don't know the result of 2+2.

Its common sense to investigate whatever you invest you time to, also.
Whole premises about this post is from point of view, in newbie eyes... I admit...
I'm not old player in this game. Just, highly fu. entusiatic. Why the f. only older players should have the voice to be legit? Its like, my 1000 game I play... I can see a gem when I see it. I can test in a month and two enough to see that 1 year if not nearly close to enjoy in it. Wtf all jugment and preeching about game play time. I'm not supid to conclude, if I made to lvl1 mine with suports in 1 month .. i need more time to enjoy game than 1 year.. Just my opinion bro.
This is forum and I dont need a badge to say may opinion, I gess.
