yea, even though i am only benefitting from it should there be buffs from it, and i dont lose any of the exp i am taxed on, i severely dislike how your province being claimed is just an process you dont have any influence or say in, this hasnt changed from before thingwalls, villages and inhabitants dont need too be subjugated, or brought intoo the fold or something. they are just collateral expfarms , eventually fueling the kindoms of the people that pose the biggest threath to them. with the only way of evading that, to join an realmbuilding faction, or never to log in again. there is no wild or disbuted territory, rebellions, neutral ground ,or hermitages there are just provinces part of an kingdom and provinces that will eventually be made part of an kingdom.

if the exptax is the reward for the realm. you should have too conquer people. not set up an shitty flag at the "fuck distance trees"
as soon as realmstage nonrealm people are just inconsequential. its not like the tax would accomplish the only thing it was set out too do: disentivising you too regulary cull the population in your own realm .

again, realms have just expanded to where they have no business to, overnight huge swaths of land just get appropiated by some faction, no matter if someone of them ever has set foot on an continent or plans too, people arent informed about that, and there is no way to do something against that exept relocating even farther away from civilication, even the caves offer no refuge,

oh really? how long does it dry for? 6hours, you get no warning about nonclaimed provinces being challenged , so i went too sleep an independend villager, and woke up an subject. cause it gets treated as an non issue, wich it kinda is. but shouldnt.

do i have to put an 24/7 scoutalt next too the thingwall, like the people making sure their realmextension out in the hicks dosnt get challenged.

You can check your realm windows by inspecting the TW. The possible challenge period is 8 hours wide. The flag can be placed any time during that, and stands for 2.5 hours before it can be attacked and destroyed in the last 0.5 hours. If the timezone bullshit and timings feel like they suck, it's because they do. The system is painful and requires people to warp their sleep schedules to do it.

But you weren't completely unable to do anything about it. You had as much chance/information to engage in it as the realm owners expanding the claim do.

Anyway, hopefully your overlords won't harass you now that you provide a resource to them, which is I assume the point of the realm system.
