Why is it a fantasy I litrely did HBI last world. Most big village would be happy to know the location of scents. Also as a non pvper u mite not be aware but its pretty common for pvper to just drop all items on floor. Any hermit who get KOd should go back to the spot on an alt. Even in zvz fights it can be annoying to find the spot some1 got knocked because it takes too long to sort out looting big belts they often get left behind

I can agree, running with naked alt at meteorite battlefield is a very way to get faction level b12/armor from the floor.

You're making me uncomfortable. I'm not important enough for you to be bringing up somebody crash killing me half a year later. Normally when a bigboi gets killed during a crash people don't brag about it at all since it's a bit shameful, but six months later? I feel like some kind of microcelebrity. It's weird.

There are several reasons why. I wasn't really even considering the scents themselves when I thought of the suggestion but rather benefits such as having a last known location of your body (if you died), a record of where you've been attacked/knocked out/killed in case you might want to avoid those areas in the future or to at least know to be prepared for that circumstance, or so you can let others know as well exactly where attacks have occurred.

Also I don't really like the way memorization works. I think it would make more sense if the time it took to memorize a player was based solely on the clothing they wore like how bandit's mask increases the time it takes. Some base amount of time that is increased by clothing that better hides facial and other recognizable features, rather than pitting the stealth * int vs perc * exp of the players against each other considering in most cases the one that is more inclined towards pvp tends to always have the higher value anyways.

maybe pvp makes it just a long ass rouge lite mmorpg?
makes swallowing the pill a bit easier

edit:
also, you guys make the game a literal dark forest simulator like the one from the 3 body problem,
but without everyone being so far from each other - which makes it worse probably :|
