You can philosophize for a very long time about stat value caps (10,000), maximum stats, maximum w7 stats after many years of play (which still never came close to the upper limit). A simple hermit like me couldn’t care less whether pickled mushrooms become the new shepherd’s pie — I eat irregularly anyway. The scurrying of major factions doesn’t interest me much either. But pickled chanterelles — that’s awesome.

Perhaps it's time to acknowledge that a simple hermit like you shouldn't make game changing CnI posts.
At least listen to your seniors why this is a bad idea currently.

I do want to have pickled mushrooms too. I don't even care about them being much better FEPs if at all. Just for the flavor win.

I did laugh at this, but in all seriousness, I don't think we should be discouraging new food additions. Making food is like 80% of the game for non-PKers.

It is a well known fact, after all, that the thoughts of new blood are ipso facto invalid, and that only shrivelled old men can have good ideas, as evinced by the political hell landscape of a certain Western country. A perfect nation with no flaws.

What are you on about, sir? Is it inconceivable that a different balance or paradigm exists from the current one? And aren't you also the one talking about 'lack of imagination' in your threads? Let's put our thinking caps on, shall we? :)

Everything is fine. The section is called ‘Critique & Ideas’; I proposed an idea, it’s being criticized - it's ok. I just don’t understand why it’s being taken as aggressive in the first place.

If you’re from a leading faction, there’s no problem adding a couple of lines to your bot.

If you’re from a trailing faction, you’re already behind anyway—it doesn’t matter whether you have 100 cheese or 200, or what kind of sheep pen you have—the bot will have three times as much. You were behind in w15, w14, w13 - always. Tune your bot or accept it.

If you’re a hermit, just have fun. When representatives of a major faction come to your gates, not a single pickled morel will save you.

Of course, if you’re a young ganker attacking small villages, then you might get pushback more often -but even that doesn’t sound like a significant problem.
