ONLY IF I GET TO BREAK YOUR NECK IN THE PROCESS
NO COST IS TOO GREAT FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE HEARTHLANDS

My neck is safe. I love horses, I don't eat them, I let them loose, and I carefully walk through the thickets, leading the horse on a leash.
But if someone tries to gallop through the thickets, you'll most likely trip, fall, and if the rider doesn't break their neck, they'll most likely be crushed by your 0.5-1 ton carcass.

YOU ENSLAVE MY KIN, AND THEN, GENERATIONS LATER, YOU THROW THEM BACK INTO THE WILDERNESS, WHERE THEY ARE LIKELY TO PERISH AFTER A MISERABLE EXISTENCE IN CAPTIVITY

BUT YOU DO NOT EAT US, AND THIS MUST ABSOLVE YOU OF THE OTHER ATROCITIES COMMITTED, SOMEHOW

I WOULD RATHER THROW MYSELF OFF A CLIFF THEN FEEL YOUR NOOSE AROUND MY NECK

Yes, after I release them, they either die of starvation or are eaten. That's why I wanted them to go back to the wild.
And I wouldn't call the conditions they live in pitiful. Constant care, food year-round, protection from predators, spacious enclosures—many people live worse.
What cruelty? Giving me piggyback rides every now and then? I almost always ride in second gear so the horse doesn't get tired!
And here I am, protecting you from being chased at full gallop through the thicket, while you say, "I'll jump off a cliff." You need to fight for your rights and freedom.

That's a brilliant idea – a fantastic idea servar – let's go for it, so we can get through the tickets on a horse, but there's a 90% chance you'll fall flat on your face, wounds and so on ... Yeahh that's the true Jorbtar Spirit

Go for It @jorb @trueh&hexperience

Take a chance

I don’t know who this is, he’s probably a good person if they confused me with him, but I am Var. ser Var.

Ha ha! And there's definitely a 100% chance of minor cuts or a scratched face.
But I like the thickets the way they are now.

it's just stupid, it adds nothing to do the game, it's just annoying and uninteresting, and it's not even larpy because it makes no sense.
just get rid of that limitation, please.

Also, it would really help if you tone down thicket frequency on world gen, they are everywhere, i think they would be cooler if they were a bit more region specific like most biomes are.

you know you can just jump of the horse and drag it after you with a rope right?

1: I like wagons and that doesn't really work with a wagon.
2: That doesn't really justify the whole thing mechanically
3: That actually makes it even more illogical, because horses can cross it afterall

Have you ever in your life seen a thicket? or a real horse?
You can lead a horse through it, but you cant ride it, it makes 100000% sense to me at least.
