What would you suggest?
What's the best way to fight them, and how should it work?

i think you can relate to the feeling of not being able to kill something that attacks you. not saying we should be able to kill them but fuck'em anyway

That's not how tansy extract works.
You are rubbing tansy on yourself, not tansy extract. Tansy extract is a timed buff where midges literally flee from you as long as you have it.

You are the one not reading, fuckin retard.

Can we prevent new accounts from making new topics? They are always either troll alts or retards.

I appreciate your polite and well thought out response, you are indeed correct that I was wrong in that you need to use the extract and not the herb itself. That seems like a very large amount of resources and time investment just to deal with what should be an annoyance, so I'll pivot to just not doing that.

Thank you for your response!

Cheers.

It's 2 tansy and 0.1l of salt water for, like, 1 hour of immunity per dose and you make 3 doses per craft, that's 3 hours of immunity for 2 tansy and .1l of salt water. Out of curiosity, can you tell me what would be a not "very large amount of resources" recipe?

I bet that Carl does not actually think that, its just cope that they resolve to in order to not fully concede the argument
Personally I think that we should be able to use an eye tracker to instantly smite any midges that our gaze falls upon, for free

It wasn't an argument in the first place, I believe I posted in the Critique & Ideas section of the forums as giving my perspective on something that I thought should be a mere annoyance that is easily overcome. The Tansy buff even says 'shields you from Midges', I guess the game wants to be that pedantic so that when someone new is still being persisted by them makes a post confused as to why, curmudgeon veterans who are clearly using the forums to vent their personal and life frustrations out and not engage in respectful and polite discussion get their jollies off by saying, 'WELL ACTULLLAAAY'.

Oh, so you weren't ARGUING for a positive change in the game, but merely giving your perspective (whining). That's fine, we do that a lot here, sometimes intentionally but more often not. I mistook you for someone who still had hope and thought that there was a point in ARGUING, and for that, I apologize

I don't go on obscure MMO game forums to argue with strangers, it's an exercise in futility. It is however a bit disheartening to be met with such hostility over my misunderstanding of a game rule that again IMO is pedantic. I think we all should take a deep breath and/or take our blood pressure medication, getting this upset over such a nice and peaceful farming simulator such as this game I think is missing the point!

That is NOT the reason for the hostility.
Also, can you answer my question?
