Well bots are obviously in every MMO, this game isnt an exception as Jorb stated. Its just that I'd want to see attempted punishment or removal of botters. If there isnt an attempt to punish players for it, I wont want to continue paying. In other games there are at least punishments and active server moderating (which probably isnt something a game of this size could support obviously). If the attitude is, "oh itll always be there, we'll try to make it harder to do, but will not punish these players" then all you are doing is giving these players zero repercussions, and giving them hours or days to work around it. Which in my eyes is a stance that will turn away a majority of would be players and push out current players who can't stay in the competitive field. No p2p game should have a relaxed stance on that sort of game play.

That's my 2 cents. Addicted to the game, love throwing money at it, I just dont want to be punished for being an active player who wont use bots to get an edge on the competition.

You may want to re-think the payment model. Making it less expensive to sub(the current payment scale is not competitive, its basically premium) or finding alternative ways to gain cash might be to your own benefit in the end. Play time really chokes the game out in the eyes of most people. Nobody wants to time manage their gaming time, they do enough time management during the work week.

Note: I have no issues with the current model since I made multiple accounts and develop multiple free account characters at the same time to get my desired amount of hours of play.

Just my two cents on the subject. :D

Maybe there could be 2 different payment models for game time, the normal subscription one in which you pay 10$ for 1 month of subs, and another in which you would pay for "gametime hours packs", which would cost less but yield less gametime hours in total, and unlike the monthly subscription system this one would give like X amount of gametime hours for $5, which would only be consumed WHILE YOU ARE ONLINE IN THE GAME, this way you could give players like 1 week worth of hours for $5 that would only be consumed during gameplay, this would allow people to play the game much longer for much less, but would not allow the player to afk freely on the game to use those stupid curio swap bots, which as much as I hate to admit would become one of the main advantages of paying for a normal monthly subscription.

Maybe the actual price and number of hours need some studying to make it profitable for the devs, but you get the main idea from this example right? :ugeek:

You can already buy a pack of gametime: the yearly subscription.
This gives 6€/Month.

This is bad system. I really dont enjoy it.
Maybe 15 euro for forever sub? Ofc H&H is good game but averange price for games like that (i mean 2d/2,5d) on steam is 15euro/forever. 15/month is really expensive.
I hope that will change.

The idea is to give people more payment models and options that might fit better into different people´s realities, therefore increasing the amount of player willing to pay for the game.

Also, many people are kind of troubled with the idea of paying for a full year subscription because most people have times of the year in which they can´t play as much due to work/school/university.

It would also mean that some currently paying players would be able to move to a less expensive payment plan and still cover their play time needs. You can't assume that an increase in the number of paying players will always mean increased income.

just a thought, but can we get hours to stack? Maybe roll over our unused game time so it doesn't vanish when we gain 7/14 more hours? That could cause some fun and makes payment models more appealing. Unused free accounts could be sold for good cash if they sat long enough :D

The free time offered is plenty.
In case you play this more than an hour per day: verify the account.
In case you play more than two hours a day: get a subscription.

The solutions suggested here mostly boil down to:
" give it away for free because I'm too cheap to pay "

I find that despicable.
