Depends, if we are talking about crafter char, then after some time it will reach a point when there is nothing useful to spend LP on and those skills are the best way of progressing for themOrcling wrote:jorb wrote:Love the idea of more crossover points to blend away the distinction almost entirely.
Except that now getting 150k LP take a LONG time (not to mention all the skills to get there). That aside, the 150k farming skill ain't even worth half of the LP.
Just 1 extra seed and maybe a few more silk filaments. Tree planting chance doesn't matter shit because you can just keep making treepots until it you get what you want. Its simply not worth 150k LP with the content it provides right now.
Why? I always seemed to take all skills in Haven. This isn't Salem where you can specialise into a single industry branch. It's not hard to get stats and skills to perform all. Also no fucking farmer will get smithing, ever.
Why not treat the helmet as a perk for having those expensive skills? Of course we could discuss if maybe the helm should be somehow upgradedIf you want to add crossover points, they shouldn't be the most expensive ones you can find.

Kaios wrote:So you guys want the 150k mining skill to unlock the druid helm instead or what is the problem here? The name of the skill and what it unlocks makes sense, I don't understand why it matters to you so much that it's related to farming. Ok, so it does stuff for farming and unlocks other things too. That makes it more worthwhile to get.
Also, how do you know it only unlocks the ability to craft the druid helm, you do know there are images for a cloak and staff as well, right? And a Dryad thing? Have you even bothered to test if you can do anything to them now or was it just buy the skill, come to forum, cry?
Here's a quote for you guys in case you missed it during the "Paving the Way" update when they added all those skills:jorb wrote:Druid's Cloak is now craftable

What I get from this thread is that maybe the druid helm needs some buffs if it's gonna suck so much to craft. Who knows, I doubt anyone here even knows the stats it gives yet
