Real rivers, not this sorry excuse we have now. Give me a Danube or a Rhine. A river that can take you to opposite corners of the map, to make knarrs actually usable and to give the world some actual macro scale features.

Combat needs a complete revamp. It is not intuitive at all.

You can change combat at any time, though, no reset needed.

PvP
- combat system should be changed: it should involve more tactics, team play, being more about clever tactics rather than stats vs stats game;
- do something about 0>x>250 stats alts that are used to body-block, cluster the scene, use opp knocks on you and etc.;
- make it so that the sense of permadeath and feeling that you have actually done some harm to your enemy is present;
- archery return, more diversity in weapons, gear and style;
- overhaul the siege system. Remove the 1 minimap between idols, since it leads to more abuses and doesn't resolve the problem. Make actual settlements differ from the outposts used to control local resources, wells and etc. so that they would be easier to raid = making more points of conflict. Make it so that you do not need to check your claim every 8 hours and surroundings for siege claims and etc. Make more points of conflict and looting outside of villages (for instance, statues/world trees providing buffs for the kingdom that covers them, make it so that people can take over each-others statues and etc.).

Kingdoms
- make moderation tools for the kingdom chats (banning, accesses to channels, banning from speaking, making multiple channels and pins, and etc.);
- make more complex kingdom system providing for socialization:
1. Make it possible to create dutchies inside of the kingdom and let them have their own (determined by the ruler) exp. income % from the kingdom's exp. Further, let separate people have their controllable amount of exp. they could have from the kingdom's exp = making knights, barons and etc. titles.
2. Make the kingdom expansion cost more auth as you expand further from the king's stone. Make the expansion cost less if there is a dutchy in the borders (assigned via village idol?).

Trade
Fix the barterstands, finally! 2 years, Karl, 2 years!

Resources:
- make them rarer and scarce overground: we need more points of conflict, rather than turtling your own 10 nodes and being content for the rest of the world. The underground local resources should be possible to find not only on the cave tiles;
- make it so that people could not easily claim 100+ resourses.

For more casual players and hermits, not so much.
+1 on changing the combat system. Right now it's just pure grind and numbers advantage. Feels really inbalanced for casual players who stand no chance if someone stated wanders up on them in the wild. Would support a new combat system allowing for more dynamic combat and perhaps stat caps for combat skills to make it unnecessary to constantly grind to stay competitive.

Also, love those kingdom ideas. Big fan of having more local kingdoms, and more kingdoms overall. Perhaps even some kind of alliance mechanic to allow neighboring kingdom's to help each other out/share buffs/ something of that sort.

fix pvp not to be all about stats and make mc as useful as ua, currently it is just a waste of learning points, because ua will always be superior
remove satiations

In the current situation it's easy to grind 200 ua by making guilding + sub + some curios. You can make multiple of those in 1 week.
+ the casuals stand no chance anyway, because of experience>stats. Forget the idea of the casuals and hermits "competing". The only way one could compete (in the current situation with the roads being too easy) is to join a faction.

Localised resources should be unclaimable. Ideas:
  • despawn them after they have been harvested and pop up a new ones somewhere else in the world (they new ones could slowly push up from the ground visually - that could take an ingame week or two to complete till they're ready to harvest, so monitoring the surroundings would give an early information about resources that will become available in the near future
  • make them a massive drain of authority from any claims nearby (1 map tile range), enough so 3-4 active (4kLP/h) characters would be needed to counter the authority drain per claimed resource, in case the former is implemented new ones should never spawn in locations where they would impact claims
  • make them disable accumulating soak in walls (with 1/2 map tile range)
  • make them ignore visitor and theft

Kingdoms: the first part of viewtopic.php?p=718282#p718282 would keep kingdom sizes at bay and, for bigger kingdoms, give incentive to interact with the peasants (as these could be tasked to perform the upkeep maintenance on the border cairns) apart from claiming them to fill the kingdom coffers and be done with it.

Requires significant elaboration to be a meaningful request. Why?
