I wouldn't be surprised if some even had maps with players / parties showing up, and the fastest tw path.

why do people on this forum just invent these elaborate stories about what 'factions' are doing? its so boring and dumb

felix group was probably the most globally present 'faction' (like 5 ppl) this world and they litrely stream their gameplay for a few weeks, its just bog standard sailing around hunting 24/7, pls stop this whining fan fic about what factions do, its so cringe and gay

Seems like a mishmash of two stories. Shubla client, not by any means a faction thing, logged hats when showing people on his map. Very unlikely it was ever malicious, mostly a "this is neat, makes people easier to see" or whatever. People were super unhappy, nothing ever happened though. It is definitely possible to do though.

I personally interacted with a korean network of rage alts that would aggro you when you landed on any of a set of TWs near their homebase in W15. Complete pain in the ass, and they chased you to coordinate bringing fighters. They used this network to exterminate hermits off their minicontinent last world.

The rage alt network really annoyed the crap out of me. I did indeed move off the island to avoid that nonsense.

That is happening this world too. The simplicity of the method is actually quite effective. Rather than try and create something more complex that would attack instead it performs the most basic actions, aggro, follow, drink. Knock and you leave a scent to be tracked anyways or keep running until the goon squad shows up.

North center continent W15, haven't seen it this world. They don't use it to fight anyone meaningful, they just use it to kill off hermits. W14 before I lived on the outer continent south of them, they definitely killed off the hermits on that place too (we had contact with a couple who were talking about the harassment before they died/quit). Never saw any rage alts but we only visited for a couple nomad quests. Basically their playbook last two worlds, move somewhere obscure and effeciently murder the couple locals so they get the place to themselves.

Fought them once or twice with a couple fighters, they weren't good. And if I'm saying that, they were garbage by faction standards.

It's also worth noting: I don't think this is really an argument one way or the other about TWs specifically. I'm saying I've seen this first hand and been inconvenienced by it. Had to go on a snek trip to rescue one of my guys who got chased by 3 because of it.

Start thinking up some actual solutions to the problem please.

We didn't try it on a tiny map.

+1 harder fast travel, higher will requirements, encourage trading with neighbors more and not the world. World markets devalue everything.

I'm not going to be too specific because I don't wanna throw people under the bus but multiple major groups had access to shubla's map in W13, and shubla is "faction affiliated" now he's with WB kindof

I personally killed a lot of retards because of his mapper lol
