It just doesn't make sense that you can make 500 fep foods before you can make cheese which is way less.
I think its broken.
We won't be adding the pickled mushrooms sorry.

Many mushrooms can only be found in the wild, so the increased value of mushrooms increases the value low tier players can provide to the economy. Hasn't been as present since the metal spiral nerf

Pickling is annoying even with the big jars, and more pickling options increases the amount of research and chores dramatically. The amount of mushroom/spice/recipe/more spice combinations would dwarf any other pickles right now, unless all pickles made the same pickled mushroom(which would negate the plus above). That number of creations creates a mechanic that can mostly be exploited by people who keep their private cookbooks secret, and is a sinkhole of time and effort for most other players. Turns food into another alchemy grind.

The number of different mushrooms doesn't matter; there's 4 types of onion but all pickled onion gives the same FEP. The source of the spice doesn't matter. Pickled is basically replacing the different mushroom options with another 100% spice.
