Also, from OP:

Meaning : Running with plate would use like X+2 stamina.
While Leather would use X+1
Spruce cabbages = X

the nooblings would be able to flee easier, IF they are smart to carry water and else.

Plate vs plate would be no advantage to either.

A plate running against a fast stronger leather would be a loss.

Just thinking.

It IS about combat, yes. But more than the combat balance itself, it's about the chase, running, the pre-combat.

Arguing this is pointless, what's useful for the OP's idea has been said in the first pages already anyway - feel free to whine about pvp balance from now on

Having heavy hast equipped or being loaded up on stuff in the inventory should slow you up, not much, but enough to matter. So in case you want to flee you could drop stuff to get speed...
