What's wrong with that? I thought that darkness was a great addition to Salem. Some extra-dangerous place in haven that nobody could settle in would offer some great late game pve content, assuming the rewards are high enough.

What's wrong with that?

Haven community was always prickly towards Salem, and the things they did add from Salem like tri quality, and bullshit fishing (I never played salem so I can't notice them all) have been legit the worst things about this world. Not saying I hate the idea, just saying why some people will recoil in horror when they hear that name.

Not everything from Salem was terrible. Items inheriting properties from their ingredients, the way butchery was handled, foragable rocks, etc. There were a lot of strong ideas, they were just in a bad game.

Mind you it is after midnight and my mind is running a million miles a minute.

All players get UNLIMITED GAME TIME
(regardless of level)
Free accounts get 80% LP gain
Verified accounts get 90% LP gain
Subbed accounts get 100% LP gain

If unable to pay sub, LP skill gain drops to appropriate %

Three play modes
Chosen in character creation room, determines spawning "region"

BEGINNER: TUTORIAL
New players, quests to teach the basic mechanics of the game:
Such as right clicking, equipping items, purchasing skills, items to be discovered to unlock crafting options, etc.
The last quest in the tutorial option will have you do something that results in permadeath, yes part of the quest line, as it is part of the game.
They will appear in the creation room, with a quick tutorial on that to walk them thru the ancestor runes, to select their preivous self and be born again.

At this point they choose PvP or PvE FACTION
This determines the in game charter stone FACTION REGION they will spawn at.
Once this option has been chosen and you have spawned, you may not change this option, until death and new character spawn.
Want two characters one PvE and one PvP, fine, go ahead.

PvPers all together, raid each other as you will.
PvEers all together, join up, make villages, live peacefully.
This may ENCOURAGE MORE SOCIALIZATION and less "hermiting"

Still want to be a hermit, be a hermit pvp or pve, your choice.

All regions have most all resources, except for a few, that pvp and pve would need from each other.

NEUTRAL COMMON AREAS thru out the world and both factions with "natural wonders" that are non claimable.
Claims can be made close enough for walking and socializing, but the NEUTRAL zone itself is not claimable.
Both factions may gather for socializing, events, trading.
These areas would have NATURAL IN GAME CHARTERS STONES that anyone can travel to from any charter stone.
This would be a good place to have IN GAME EVENTS, some fun things that jorb and loftar can have off and on thru the year

A lot of this stuff I have gleaned from reading others posts, these are not my thoughts alone.

You've never seen log stockpiles? Thanks to Stya btw for explaining, but, you don't even need a frame to put them in you just stack them; :)

In my opinion there should be gems, when are u mining u have a chances to get it and it will be very rare. Also u can make some jeverery from it. When u mining in 2lvl minehold u can get difrent ones than when u mining in lvl 1 or something like this. Maybe guns also will be nice, new metals like lead where u can made amunition for guns, some curios, wierd stuff. Sorry for bad english

+1 to gems, also, we need nuggets stock piles...if i have metal stockpiles, why not nuggets? every bar is 10 nuggets ....all my cupboards are filled with nuggets when trying to make nugget curious or stuff

Frame was just for game interaction purpose :D if you right click when lifting a log you will just drop it :(
