Any combination, three or more I believe, of Ant bites, bee stings, midge bits, jellyfish stings, nettle stings, and at least one or two I'm forgetting, cause an allergic reaction. I'm one of those people that, if it doesn't require high skills, but has some risk, say everyone in a village should help out with gathering <blank>. Honey and wax from hives is one of those things that everyone can help gather, and only get one or two stings per person per day. But then what about going out foraging, fishing, or other activity that puts more small wounds on a character? It kind of hampers that "share the load" concept that I try to encourage out of village mates when people start getting Allergic reactions, and not just one, but two or three or more.
@jorb, loftar: I get that wandering down the path without worrying about the destination can be enjoyable. For a developer, it usually is (until you run yourself into a dead end road in the middle of a dark forest and the only way out is back many, many releases ago). For a player of that game, it can be fun watching the development, but it can also be a huge headache and kill any other fun because you want to avoid these traps while playing.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
