what? i've no idea what you are trying to say. are you trying to push for stats to be pretty much the same at 100 and 1000?

Ok so look

If you make that boar snuff thing give you a mining power bonus (so not strength), and you make it last longer (cause mining power wouldn't affect pvp), then you'd be able to add rolling/time gated stat caps

This solves the big problem that was preventing stat caps, yes? Maybe?

Also would let people play the game more and grind less idk. Would give the more casual players a sense of accomplishment. It still takes an unhealthy amount of time to be in the top, and it's stupid imo

God, this game can only be played by knowing and using exploits, and this is mandatory to be even at the average level. endless grinding and endless exploitation of game holes.
Just teach animals to swim and get into boats, and mammoths and whales to explode like shahids, killing everyone around if they are poked from the shore or through a hole.
The problem is not that casual players do not have enough stats, the problem is that most of them do not even know what a "normal game" is

So what, the game shouldn't be improved anywhere at all, just cause some pieces of shit exploit stuff and don't ever report it?

Also keep in mind the devs have absolutely no alarms going off when q250 water wells exist (mathemathically impossible), for 8 years. What do you expect?

ultima online server i played in - everyone got 100 hp, 100 str, 100 sword skill
you could use items to make it 140 / 120 / 120

there was no situations, where you have "no chance" (only with big skill difference)

this could work too, cap pvp stats at 100 base, and +from items
but will never happen, we will still suffer if we whant to play this game

PVP is too important to the game to nerf it that hard. All the major factions will get their kicks off on fighting each other until 100 stats, then they'll quit since their grind no longer improves their PVP. Without them no marketplaces will form and the games economy will collapse.

You gotta balance incentivizing faction pvp while de-incentivizing spruce ganking but thats hard and the last time there was a stat cap it was dreadful.

Even me, A scrublord, reached it and soon everyone stopped grinding and the world became lifeless... that stat cap was 300. Imagine how hard 100 would kill a world.

Make it be 50 stats on day 1, and increase it by 5 stats every day for the attributes.
Or something like that

Idk about abilities though.

Dozen of times over the years ton pvpers haven given their thoughts on pvp.
Typically the first 1 to 3 worlds they love the over stated combat, then later down the road they dislike it because they find nobody every wants to play with them.

My crew and myself don't really pvp; we show up to some conflicts, agree to come a long to fights here and there~ because we want to experience everything haven has to offer. Must 80% of my group does not pvp, they wont offer their 2 cents on this kind a of topic because they either no nothing about pvp, or think pvp is just to hard or harsh. They're the player base that wishes Jorb and Loftar focus on adding more to the game that a village can Collab on or make things pretty.

for the handful of players that do pvp rolling stat caps would not even help them get into pvp, they, the backline fighters. typically never experience KO someone because their stats go over 200. No typically at this point 30 days into the world. they're just reaching 100 Int or 100 Agi.

So we have even less of a player base who ever hit a rolling stat cap; these players are the players who still put in more then 2 hours to play the game.
Idk how many times I frontline fought many of you and then meet felix face to face to be just instantly cleaved for insane amounts of damage at basically no opening.
This I know~ I'll never be able to meet toe to toe with with the big dogs anymore sololy based on gear and stats, and I have no ideas to balance pvp because pvp is not my idea of fun here in haven and hearth.
