I think tableman is a farmer in his village. Before the patch he was the god in his village because everyone needed his big fields to produce enough barley. Now everyone can produce enough barley at their own personal plots so tableman is sad that other villagers don't need him that much.

Can we get back to the part about the OP's math being totally wrong? You're only getting just over two harvests of barley to go with the pumpkin harvest. At 180 tiles of barley, it's going to be more like 400 pies, not 960. That's also assuming you're not making anything else, just a shit ton of one item. Maybe that's how it's done on the industrial scale, I wouldn't know since I've never played that way but last time I checked, this game wasn't balanced around the industrial scale.

Yes and new trading system hit me. But eventually im going to try to build road to somewhere and sell food. Just trying out is it possible to be a hermit and sell foods.
