i like it as is, in order to excel at metal you have to excel at EVERY other industry basically it seriously takes months of hardcore playing to hit insane qualities on metal

i mean going to q300 anvil in like 2 weeks of the world as maze paints isnt even close to possible id be surprised to see it in 2months

Ladygoo can confirm it for you, as lady was part of AD at that point.

But now a days correct, metal seem harder to spiral then back in w4.
Also when you find iron, you don't find gaint nodes nor can you force the out come to be 50% stone 50% iron. Top that off with needing to use coal now.
It takes more time to get off the ground.

But the point still stands that you can spiral the Q pretty quickly with the right setup.
But I can't see a good fix for this.
Lower amount it can spike only slows the spiral.
With a lot of effort you can work it up and wont be insanely ahead. (q20 is kinda insane...)

need to fix before wipe:
1. claim rare resources + alt's harvest rare resourcesd (not static nodes)
2. drinks to all satiations (poultry, game , nuts, mushrums )
3. make archers great again (300dmg - 300armor = 0 dmg)
4. profit to int psy dex will (like str agi con in late game) (3000int=x3 LP; 3000psy=x3 heal; 3000dex=resist wound, 3000will=x3 EXP)
5. metal Q : 11coal (burnout = 0% progress) + alt w/o miners skills for blacksmith (more wrouhgt iron chance )
6. bark in not tunning containers (raise water Q on cauldron )
7. EXP events resets not only after update (no update = no EXP)
8. siege bug (12hrs connected to corner = ignore shield siege)
9. no botting no borring (slime in mine, something same on farming \ fishing \ cooking)
10. cheese : speedup slaugter, colored chees stages

It's really the icicles that are the most often claimed. I don't know the last time I saw an unwalled icicle. For common things like salt, it's not really a huge deal. But icicles are only found on mountains and this world seems to be a rather lacking in them this time.

It also doesn't help that they're located in the snow only (wait are they? I can't remember specifically). The mountains don't seem very snowy.

Almost all of this can be fixed without a reset :/

No, they can't. There is a variable called "balance". If not fixed from the beginning, the issues (such as above, although I might not agree with all of them) cannot be fixed further into the game as it would give someone super-advantage, while the newcomers would be disadvantaged.

These are the only things i agree with that should be fixed from your post tbh
especially the archer part, but they need to find a healthy balance, we don't want people 3rd-4th speeding horses while firing bows again, but we also don't want it to be so weak that one ever would use it.

You mean like ore qualities bug, or jotun gems for the first hour, or wells dug with botted realm authority, or any of the other balance breaking things that we just rolled with? Don't make me laugh, there was never such a thing as balance in H&H.
