Regardless of other possible criticisms against the bunny-chasing meta, those two elements are indisputably broken. And you can fix them while retaining the bunny-chasing meta, e.g. by moving those bonuses elsewhere.

in that case that's not an issue with pvp but an issue with how the bonuses are introduced. frankly, i dont care about missing out on other shoes, and the AC with all the armor & bunny slippers is good enough, while steel boots 24/7 feels bad. sure you need to do a credo but its the most basic one & its low effort. could it be better? yes. is it enough to warrant a change over other broken stuff in the whole game? no. would the convencience be worth the risk of them fucking up pvp? no.

There are people who feel very attached to the current meta and don't want it to change.

But I'm pretty sure everybody does hate the credo and bunny slippers being mandatory, and would at least prefer if those same bonuses didn't require taking Forager credo and always wearing bunny slippers (with the meta otherwise remaining the same).

Bunny slippers can go, speed boosts from critters is fine, apply bunnyslipper speed bonus to something else, done

u don't even need to finish the credo. I think it takes me like roughly 2 hours? to get to speed buff. IMO credos should be linear and not random.

Tbh, it's an easy credo, i can do it with no issues (unless the rng fucks me and even then it's not more than a day). But if it wasn't for the speed boost i wouldn't do it. Fuck em, credos are bad.

Forager credo and bunny slippers are a low bar for entry to be viable PvP escape runner, but the problem is how you communicate this to a new player (outside tutorial video or other player instructing?)
