I actually laughed out loud after reading this part, so I decided to put it first.
FaithfulToadd wrote:'woke libtard' insult
Told ya you would read that hypothetical example as an insult despite the theoretical insulter was being nice and smiley all around it. Just as I am going to take someone calling me "ignorant, but otherwise OK" as an insult. But you know that already, and I'm much more convinced you did know that beforehand now that I've read your previous comment.

Oh my god. I don't have a "case" to help, you don't have any authority or weight to "make a case" against me or whatever is that perverted thicket of a concept this high horse of yours stumbled into.
It's plain and simple. I hate redundant variety. I hate politics (right-wing or left-wing or religious or any other) afflicting media in a
dictative way. I see people arguing for more customizable characters as a STEP towards one of these stated directions. Not a full blown thrust into one or the other. A step towards. Which I consider unnecessary and undesirable for me personally. I wouldn't quit the game for that reason, but i wouldn't like it turn like that. I have illustrated the directions I do not want the game to take with a two MARGINAL (i.e. hyperbolized to the extreme) examples of such stuff, whichever first came to mind. I consider the game setting being broken not by introducing skin colors, but by introducing redundant variety, whatever the reason, political or absurdist kitsch.
This all I can vouch for because it originates from my own head. You are free to interprete it otherwise, and you would be mistaken. You are free to argue with me about what I "ackhhtually" meant, but that would be obviously counterproductive. I don't bother with bending my words online for quite a while now because I don't care enough. I say what I say and if I'm misunderstood I may elaborate or explain if I'm feeling like it or I consider the situation deserving. This does not, ofcourse, cover me being a jackass when a situation presents itself - for example, when someone brings a wiki page about ethnicity, I will mock it with obvious bullshit and I refuse to feel guilty about it. II strive to make my mockery just obvious enough, but, evidently, when there's agenda, whatcha gonna do.
Now what I can't vouch for but have a strong feeling is quite plausible. You don't think about yourself as a "woke" person or a "social justice warrior", but you consider yourself a "good" and "decent" person so you try to right whatever wrongs you perceive in the world around you. You've read my comments as being bigoted, ignorant and nationalistic, so you profiled me in accordance with your perception. Your worldview does not a 100% accurately reflects the reality, but you see it as a baseline and judge from your perspective, which, in your mind, gives you higher moral standing and the moral right to label those you consider not so much socially evolved as you are.
You don't have to dissuade me, this is how I see the situation, and, while the 2nd part is purely my impression about you that I'm not holding as a gospel truth, the 1st part is ironclad and not in the realm of discussion. No out-of-context quotations, no strawmen, no nothing, plain and simple what my views on the matter boil down to.
