and even the first combat system of new HnH was quite nice compared to the current one, because with blocks instead of openings and restorations you could just spam a few blocks with medium-tier stats and it was enough to handle a mammoth without any trap or stepping away from him, you didn't even have to take a single point of damage, and you only needed a horse to chase him when he runs away

however this one was also based on stat

I think legacy combat was even better, all of them are about running, but if I had to pick one of 3 I would pick legacy because of the lack of a better idea

probably not much that comes to mind that can be said on this topic then, I guess it can now be buried below a bunch of other topics as it was said earlier
