Rolling/Time Gated Stat Caps

Thoughts on the further development of Haven & Hearth? Feel free to opine!

What most people don't want to admit is there are two types of completely different Haven players the pvp-ers and the farmvillers.
The pvp-ers view quality as a tool to be stronger than those they raid but even if everyone had equal stats they'd still gang up multiple people to one, carry more water and generally find every little bit of advantage possible to best their adversaries.
The farmvillers of which there are subtypes either play to see numbers go up or to decorate their larp realm.

Decorating larpers just quit or significantly reduce activity once they larp target is achieved.
If stat caps were implemented farmvillers will quit because numbers no go up.
If farmvillers quit then pvp-ers quit cause there's nobody left to raid.
This dream of getting more pvp-ers is just stupid. There are many many games with better pvp than haven.

The solution to the problem stat caps is trying to solve is of course pve servers and ingame moderation, but jorb preffers to be poor so we won't get them oh well.

no righteous man raises his hand against the innocent,
a man need only strike another to make him evil."

The farmvillers would probably not keep up with the stats even if there were rolling stat caps.
And if anything, it would motivate them to keep playing. Right now they see factions having a q250 anvil when theirs is q75, and they just say "oh well maybe next world", as if they didn't do the same thing for the past 6 worlds already.

TBH 5 a day is 150 a month... it might work. I wouldn't be opposed to it but I really do prefer softcapping based on proximity to the world leader, so those further away from the world leader develop faster.

That way instead of just having a rolling stat cap we instead have a rolling stat cap with a built in catchup mechanic.

Honestly as long as there's more room for breathing I'm fine with anything. I just hate this non-stop stat grind. That "5 per day" was just an idea from one of my friends, and I thought it's pretty cool.

I also fear that jorb will add a cap that literally does nothing, you know... I can already hear him say "cap starts at 100 on day 1 and increases by 1000 every day", and it'll just be retarded and pointless xd

Start the world with 50 max attributes. Add +5 per real life day to the limit.
Make boar snuff last 5 times longer, and rather than raw str, it gives mining power (so it doesn't affect pvp)

pretty good idea, i feel like this could stabilize pvp more and make it more accessible to newcomers or ppl who dont have too much time to play, which i feel would generally bring more meaningful pvp to the world.

jorb pls consider

If we start it this world we would need to start it wherever the world leader is otherwise they lose stats because 100% they are above +5 attributes a day but I wouldn't mind this being implemented though the suggestion i postulated above i am still more fond of.
